The technology of manufacturing parts can be divided into four elementary parts:
1. Flame cutting (main plate) or pressing (casing element, cover plate)
2. Bending (L-casing on R4 radius, bendable without cracking)
3. Welding (external welds made by 6-axis welding robots, the internal welds made by hand welding.
4. Descaling /shot blasting (the main plate has to be shot blasted before use, the casing element and the cover plate can only be descaled when ready) The product is going to have a homogenous, rough and oil-free surface. There s no need for subsequent machining.
Our solution eliminates the disadvantages of castings (see precedents). It forms a supporting structure which is easy to fit the containers joining beams and which is highly durable to dynamic power impulses even at very low temperatures (to -50°C). The weight of the unit is by approx. 30% lower than the steel-cast s. The cutting of the main plate (22/28 mm) is done by CNC flame- or plasma cutter while the casing elements are made with pressing technology. Flame cutting and pressing are completing /substituting technologies. The precision of the parts is checked in every single unit, assuring a perfect contact of the different parts. The casing element and the cover plates are chopped to appropriate lines from plate sheets with a cutter while its length and holes are made with press technology. The L or U casing element is bent afterwards according to type. Chamfers have to be by made for the welds.
